Our Story - and we're Sticking to it!
We were collectors long before we started making curiously named record sleeves and right from the start it has always been our mission to make quality products for the protection, storage, display and enjoyment of vinyl records. If you were wondering how we got from there to here...
We've always had a love for music and a borderline obsessive dedication to the collection (or hoarding) of it. Don't tell the fine folks at a certain mail-order music club but we may have enrolled in their twelve for a penny program on behalf of our parents, brothers, sisters, babysitters and pet goldfish. As our collections grew and evolved over the decades one thing that hasn't changed is the power that music has to take us back to a time and place in our lives.
Groove Vinyl was born as our way to honor and preserve the past while also embracing the future. It is also our way of having some fun while doing what we love which is why our Premium Outer Record Sleeves are called Jimmy Hats and Plain Janes instead of simply "Outer Record Sleeves." After all, if you're not having fun collecting vinyl, you are definitely doing something wrong.
So that is the four-one-one of how Groove Vinyl came to be. With that out of the way, you are probably wondering...
